On May 7th we will meet at Ann Morrison Park at 4:30pm, combine the donations we’ve raised, and then we will walk together, supporting the children 15 million children around the world that have been orphaned by AIDS.

World AIDS Ophans Day is May 7th. In order to commemorate this meaningful day a “Kids Walking Kids Home” walk will be held at Ann Morrison Park. “Kids Walking Kids Home” is an arm of From HIV to Home, an organization that works to pave a road home for HIV+ orphans through funding in-country, community-based orphan care and connecting HIV+ orphans with adoptive families.

This walk is to raise fund for 42 HIV+ orphans in Ethiopia that are being cared for by Worldwide Orphans Foundation. These funds will be used to feed and clothe these children. After the basic needs of these children have been met, some may be eligible for adoption and others may find a home with their extended family in Ethiopia.
