French Senate: For the fourth consecutive year, World Aids Orphan Day (WAOD) is placed under the “haut patronnage” of Mr Christian Poncelet, President of the French Senate. To launch the 7th annual WAOD, a press conference was held in the Boffrand’s salons.

Global AIDS Alliance (GAA): The mission of the Global AIDS Alliance (GAA) is to halt the global AIDS crisis and mitigate its impact on poor countries hardest hit by the pandemic. The International Institute for the Rights of the Child (IDE) is a foundation under Swiss private law with an international scope. Its objectives are to disseminate information on children's rights, train those responsible for enforcing these rights and assure the establishment of a culture and dedication for the "Rights of the Child". IDE collaborates with FXB by organizing seminars dealing with children orphaned or made vulnerable by AIDS in developing this issue with its students and in disseminating information via its website www.childsrights.org.
Kiehls: Kiehls, the New-York based Skin and Hair Care Company, supports the NGO François-Xavier Bagnoud and World AIDS Orphans Day for the fourth consecutive year. This year on May 7, Kiehls stores in France will sponsor “Shop for a Cause” for AIDS orphans. www.kiehls.com

That is why Publicis Conseil decided to support FXB and to create a visual illustrating the extreme poverty and vulnerability of AIDS orphans.
The World Organization of the Scout Movement contributes to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. For the second year, the World Organization of the Scout Movement has supported the World AIDS Orphan's Day initiative and shared the information with its members and sensitised them on the distress of vulnerable children and on the consequences of their social and economic exclusion. www.scout.org
Sidaction is a French NGO which provides financial and technical support to more than 100 projects run by AIDS service organisations in developing countries. Most of Sidaction’s partner community-based organisations are involved at grassroots level in care and support to children orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS. In Burundi, for instance, Sidaction and The City of Paris provides material, social, psychological and medical support to more than 1000 AIDS orphans through 3 local organisations (ANSS, SWAA, APECOS). www.sidaction.org
